What makes a good citizen? How can we make civic society a more productive forum for change?
Democratic citizenship is a practiced skill that every generation has to learn again. My work asks what schools owe their students as future citizens, and what a healthy civic society owes the people trying to learn inside it.
At Academy 4 Social Civics, I've spent over a decade building curricula and video resources that help students move from passive civic knowledge to active civic engagement. The goal is to give young people argumentative, ethical, and historical tools so they can think well together.
