Humanities
How can we ensure that the humanities are valued for their vital role in a healthy democracy?
I came to this work through philosophy, and I keep coming back to the humanities because they are the disciplines that train people to read carefully, argue fairly, and disagree without contempt.
As a visiting researcher at the Harvard Department of Philosophy and a faculty instructor at College Unbound, I teach courses that try to make academic philosophy practical: the ethics of ed tech, epistemic justice, family and society.
